Training
I have been a regular speaker at national and international conferences on a range of subjects connected to Technology Law.
I retain my interest in providing training, both for clients and more generally. Training can either be on subjects related to legal topics, or more practical, workshop-based training: in either case, my aim is to make the training as relevant as possible. After all, anyone can read the headnote for a new case, but what the audience wants to know is how it impacts their business - what are the practical ramifications, how they should change in response to developments. That is what I aim to deliver.
To that end, apart from delivering talks at conferences, I have provided training to organisations large and small:
- Workshop-based training for a large IT supplier designed to raise awareness of legal issue for commercial management (feedback from one delegate: "I have been to a lot of training since leaving university, but I have to say that this was the best training I have ever been to")
- Legal updates mostly related to commercial law - after delivering the Annual Contract Law Update for the Society for Computers & Law, one delegate awarded me 11/10 for content, style and relevance while another said, "Richard's seminar was, in truth, a master class. Absolutely superb. Rich in content and delivered with humour too". Laurie Kaye, Laurence Kaye Solicitors
Let me know if I can help, either with something off the shelf, or by working with you to develop some bespoke training.
